FIRE RECOVERY

Self Help, Inc, a United Way Partner, stands ready to help with the aftermath of the Las Conchas Fire as we did during the recovery from the Cerro Grande Fire.
Some needs we would anticipate would be: health issues, needs of moderate-income people
who incurred expenses during the evacuation, lost wages, referrals for mental heath issues.

The Red Cross will continue assisting disaster victims over the coming days and weeks, as volunteers and staff determine long-term needs of those affected by the Las Conchas fire. Additionally, community members and residents of surrounding areas adversely impacted can call 1-800-560-2302 for disaster-related assistance.
